It’s been a full year since the pandemic started and the street markets of Honduras’ biggest city are coming back to life.
Papusas, Baleadas, Lychees, Poyas… take a walk through the Mercados of San Pedro Sula and check out everything they have to offer. Street vendors discuss the problems they have faced over the past year in dealing with the pandemic and global downturn. It has been a rough year, but there is cause for optimism. Business is improving compared to even a few months ago. Hopefully things keep moving in the right direction.
Check out this video for an extensive overview of the Mercados of San Pedro Sula, including numerous interviews with street vendors and salespeople. Created February 2021.
